Horses use their ears, eyes and nostrils to express their mood. They also communicate their feelings through facial expressions. In this painting, I wanted to show the majestic, beautiful nature of a horse, without the strong use of facial expressions. I believe the colour palette and lighting matches the bold, yet subtle beauty of these amazing animals
