I grew up with many birds and rainbow lorikeets were part of our household! Despite what a lot of people think, they only eat minimal seeds, and their diet actually consists of fresh fruit and nectar/pollen from native flowers (They love bottle-brush and gum-tree flowers!) They have a very playful and cheeky personality, which is the main focus of this painting!
