Water Buffalos can weigh over 1000kg! They are heard animals and I feel as though they almost blend in as one being. I wanted to paint a solitary buffalo to show how beautiful they can be. I loved this angle as it shows the personality through the colours/shadows/lighting in his body, rather than through his facial expression and eyes
