There is a very simple in-built navigation menu inside the Academy website where you will be able to easily find the tutorial you wish to watch!
You will have access to the downloadable reference photos and a supply list alongside each tutorial
Although all of my tutorials are aimed at beginners, if you want a little extra help getting started, I have a beginner's section which I recommend you start with!
I’ll show you how to choose and edit your reference photo, create digital colour swatches, print your reference photo to the correct size, and create an outline using the transfer method!
If you're wondering which supplies I use in general, I have a Supply List with links here;
https://www.kirstyrebeccafineart.com/supplylists
Coloured pencil - I just want to start out by saying that you don't need all of these brands when you're just getting started! You can choose one brand (I reccomend the Derwent Lightfast first, then Faber Castell Polychromos second, and Caran D'ache Luminance third) plus the black and chinese white from Derwent Drawing
If I am blending with solvent (which I usually do) I will tend to choose more "wax-based" brands like Caran D'ache Luminance, Derwent Lightfast, or Derwent Drawing in the first few layers because they blend out with very saturated colours and look almost paint-like.
Then as the layers develop, I may add in other brands like Faber Castell Polychromos (which are "oil-based" because they sharpen to a finer point which is great for details. Derwent Lightfast feels like a mix of wax and oil-based in my opinion, which is why I recommend them first because you get the best of both worlds
In general, I choose the brand depending on the colour I am looking for. Each brand has a slightly different colour selection, so the first thing I look for is the colour I want, and that could be in any of the brands listed above. I sometimes do the entire drawing with one brand, and you can definitely start out with just one set of pencils and choose similar colours from that one brand - you don't need every brand/set of pencils to get started!
Pastel Pencil - I use both the Stabilo Carbothello and Faber Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils equally. They feel very similar, but the Carbothello are a little softer (I don't think it makes much of a difference when using them though)
I also choose which pastel pencil I am going to use based on the colours. Each set has slightly different colours, so I am picking which colour I want from either brand.
Again, you don't need to purchase both sets to start with - you can choose similar colours from one set, or layer a few colours to achieve a similar colour

I have a full list of all the supplies I use, with direct links to each product on Amazon US/UK/AU here https://www.kirstyrebeccafineart.com/supplylists
I also have links to Jackson's which is a UK-based art supply store, that actually ships worldwide (some of their products are cheaper than what I can get in Australia, so the shipping is worth it!) for those of you who don't have access to a large Amazon store like the UK/US
AND if you purchase ANYTHING from Jackson's after clicking any of my links, you'll receive 10% off your entire first order!

Sharing/selling your artwork created from the tutorials
Generally, most artists who create online tutorials do not allow you to sell your work, enter any competitions, or claim it as your own in any way. You are allowed to use the tutorials as practice – and that’s all. The main reasons why people have these “rules” are because they have either used their own reference photos for their tutorials (or have paid for the reference so they have the right to use the photo – but their students don’t) and also because people generally don’t like it when other people copy their work and claim it as their own However, I am not as fussed as some other people about some of these “rules” So, to answer some of your questions; Can I share the artwork I created by following one of your tutorials online? (to Facebook/Instagram/your own website etc) I purposely use free royalty-free reference photos, so you won’t have any legal copyright issues if you upload your work online… BUT please don’t claim it as your own work. I have seen quite a lot of posts recently on social media that are almost an exact replica of my artwork (which is great – I love seeing the work you create from the tutorials) but the artist is basically claiming that they came up with the idea, techniques, colour choices, backgrounds etc. The courteous, fair, respectful, and honest thing to do is to credit the teacher when you post your artwork online if you follow a tutorial. This goes for any tutorial you follow from any artist. For example, you can simply add “tutorial by Kirsty Rebecca Fine Art” at the bottom of your post 😊
Can I sell the artwork I created by following one of your tutorials?
I don’t have any issues with you selling your work created from the tutorials – just remember to credit the teacher (myself) by adding “tutorial by Kirsty Rebecca Fine Art” to your website listing/social media post etc when you advertise it for sale
Can I enter the artwork I created by following one of your tutorials in a competition or show? (online or in-person)
No. This is actually because competitions require you to enter “original artwork”.
So understandably, if you copy one of my tutorials, you (along with many others) would have created copies of the same piece of artwork, that I originally created – therefore you would be breaking competition “rules” Hopefully, this makes things a little clearer! 😊
